Negotiations Update

Current and ongoing negotiations involving NZALPA are detailed below.

JETCONNECT– Advocate, Mark Dignan

Negotiations continue as the parties work to identify where we differ, and seek to find potential options. Some progress has been made, but some substantive issues remain to be resolved. Further meetings will occur in July in an attempt to continue momentum.

AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL – Advocate, Adam Nicholson

Negotiations reconvene on July 11 in Christchurch with assistance from a Mediator.

VIRGIN AUSTRALIA NEW ZEALAND – Advocate, Adam Nicholson

Initiation of bargaining will occur this month.

AIR FREIGHT – Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA and Air Freight have reached a settlement which is being finalised before being presented to members for ratification.

MASSEY SCHOOL OF AVIATION– Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA and Massey have reached a settlement which is being finalised before being presented to members for ratification.

CANTERBURY AERO CLUB (CAC)– Advocate, Tom Buckley

NZALPA and CAC have reached a settlement which is being finalised before being presented to members for ratification.

L3 COMMERCIAL TRAINING SOLUTIONS (CTS) – Advocate Tom Buckley

NZALPA has had a pre-negotiation meeting with L3 management and agreed to a Bargaining Process Agreement and set down 9 days of negotiations between July and September.

HELICOPTERS NEW ZEALAND– Tom Buckley

NZALPA will be arranging a base meeting with members to discuss the renewal of their collective employment agreement over the next few weeks.
