Monday 17th AUG 2009

Ski Lessons. Join us for a days coaching with Mt Hutt's excellent instructors. We plan to run lessons in groups of 5 or 6, with the lesson plan tailored to suit the group. This worked really well last year, we had several expert groups on steep and deep, others on learning to carve, and another group for newer skiers.
These lessons will conclude with a race training session.
0930 Start!! (thats half past nine... dont be late)

Cost $110.

Race lesson and practice for about 2 hours with tips for all abilities of racer, cost $50.


Tuesday 18th

GS. Starting from just below the Summit 6 Chairlift to the Base area. This will be a single track Giant Slalom with the gates wider apart than the Dual Slalom. A real buzz. Suitable for all competent skiers (you don't have to be a fast skier).


Wednesday 19th

Dual Slalom. This is a fun event down an intermediate course racing two at a time. You may choose your racing partner. The course starts just below the Quad Chair & finishes at the Base Area. Prizes are given to "the best crash, last finisher, best fancy dress etc as well as the event winners.

Evening Prize Giving Party at “Samuels Bar” (adjoining the Blue Pub) from 6pm. (more details to come)
6.30pm Buffet meal ($25 per person) with sponsored wine.

7.15pm Prize Giving followed by the Party featuring our regular ALPA Band "The Hardware Department"


Thursday 20th
Reserve race day and general fun ski day.

G/S 2 Runs - $50 Youth (Secondary School) $40, Under 10 free
Dual Slalom -$35  Youth (Secondary School) $25, Under 10 free
Both - $80 Youth $60.

Discounted lift passes $45 for Race days, cash only at Race Regn.
